It’s hard to believe 2018 is nearly finished. What an amazing year it has been! On both personal and professional levels, Drew and I have had a blast! From new children, to new jobs (or parts of jobs), home remodeling, big trips, and new advanced degree programs; It would be nearly impossible to recap it all here. Instead, let’s look to the future and talk about five fun things we’re looking forward to in 2019!
Take a few moments to read each sections below, then reach out with any questions!
More Social Running (and drinking)!
Running is a social activity. At least we belive it’s more fun to do with other people. Sure, I love a solo run just as much as the next person, but I also cherish times I can tackle some miles with a good friend or fun people in my local running group.
In 2019, we’re working to put together some “micro-local” running groups. We want to help connect you with others in your area to run together and then enjoy a beer with. Details are yet to come, but contact us if you’d be interested. In the meantime, follow us on social media for year round encouragement.
We post frequently, sharing our podcast episodes and blog posts, as well as details on events that may be of interest to you (not just ours).
We’re running an end of the year promo right now that you’re sure to want to take advantage of!
Party with Us on January 19, 2019!
On January 19, 2019, we’re hosting a kickoff party at the Oregon Historical Society. Not only is this a great way to sample some great beer from our brewery partners, but you get to tour the Barley, Barrels, Bottles, & Brews: 200 Years of Oregon Beer exhibit at OHS! Come early to grab food and beer, enjoy some live music, then take advantage of our season pass deals.
We will have full, half, and quarter season passes for sale at up to 50% the regular price.
- The Full Season (20 events) – $300 (50% off)*
- The Half Season (10 events) – $180 (40% off)
- The Quarter Season (5 events) – $105 (30% off)
Get more details and register here.
This is an open house, and you are welcome to come at any point during the two-hour window. We will have a short program and raffle around 7:00 pm. All beer service will end promptly at 8:00 pm!
Gift Cards!
Being generous has many benefits. Instead of getting someone a little gift card to a coffee shop, or buying them a “thing” they’ll never use, invest in an experience they’ won’t soon forget.
For $25, $50, or $100, gift your best running or drinking pal one, two, or five entries to any of our 2019 events for $5 – $10 off the regular price! You can schedule it to be delivered via email whenever you want. Wanna give someone one of these in July? Buy it now and schedule it for their actual birthday. They won’t believe how thoughtful you are!
Listen to our Podcast
We host a weekly podcast show where we interview Oregonians (native and new) who are getting active, having fun, and/or giving back. Guests include our partners, participants, and other people we find interesting. In 2019, we’re working harder to bring you a more diverse group of individuals, not only those connected to our series.
We’re on a break until early January, but get caught up while you wait for new episodes.
Our 2019 Schedule!
Last but not least, we’re excited to finally announce our 2019 schedule! Look for something in January with a little more detail, but for now, here’s a mostly complete list of where we’ll be running in the new year. You’ll see a few “TBD” placeholders while we finalize details. Also, we might be adding an event or two, so watch for those details.
