Welcome to another installment of the Oregon Brewery Running Series Podcast; Inspiring Oregonians to Get Active, Have Fun, and Give Back. We host family-friendly, 5K fun runs that start and end at some of Oregon’s best breweries.
Today on the podcast, I sit down again with Matt Rasmussen from the Run Oregon Blog to discuss other races you can run this fall to help you stay active even when the weather starts to turn a little crummy. As you know, we’re all about helping people get active. Of course, we want you to show up and do that at our events, but we also want to introduce you to some of the other amazing races taking place around the PAcific Northwest. While the vast majority of the races we mention are in Oregon, the Run Oregon race calendar does list runs from all over.
Matt and I grabbed a beer at Base Camp Brewing, in SE PDX recently. Our final run of 2018 is taking place there on November 3, so I thought it would make a good meeting spot. Not only did we talk about a whole bunch of upcoming races, but also how each of our summer running has gone, as well as a whole bunch of other random topics. Don’t worry, I edited most of that out, but there’s still plenty of banter for you to enjoy. There are all sorts of distances, from the 5k to full marathon, and everything in between.
Listen now and enjoy!
